Aqua Plus® Pond Koi Sticks are developed with the specific needs of koi in mind. Koi are not typical aquarium fish. They grow large, live long and process food differently from many other ornamental species. A generic feed might keep them alive, but it won't keep them in good form. Their colour, body shape and resilience all trace back to what goes into their diet.
Colour, Digestion and Stamina – All Covered
For colour, natural enhancers like spirulina, astaxanthin and krill meal support red and white zones without artificial pigments.
For digestion, the Koi Food Sticks hold their shape in water and don't break apart quickly. Prebiotics and probiotics help maintain gut balance and reduce bloating.
For stamina, crude protein sits at a minimum of 28%, sourced from fish meal and plant proteins. Fat is kept at around 3% to support daily activity without excess calorie load.
One Formula, All Seasons
Koi eat differently across the seasons. In summer, they are active and need more frequent feeding. In winter, their metabolism slows, and portion sizes should be reduced. This Koi Food works year-round, with feeding amounts adjusted based on water temperature. Added vitamin C, vitamin E help support normal immune function during seasonal transitions.
