Freeze Dried Earthworms

Aqua Plus^® Freeze Dried Earthworms are made using vacuum freeze-drying. Fresh worms are washed, frozen at -36°C, then placed in a vacuum chamber where ice turns directly into vapor and escapes, leaving the worms thoroughly dried. The whole process stays at low temperatures, so cell structure stays intact and nutrients like protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals are largely preserved. The finished product has very low moisture content, stores well at room temperature without refrigeration, and is easy to ship and handle day to day.

These dried worms contains about 60%-70% crude protein, with good levels of essential amino acids like lysine – nutrients that plant-based diets often fall short on.

They also contain Vitamin B₁₂, iron, calcium, and phosphorus, helping fill nutritional gaps in everyday pet diets. The worms are palatable as they are, or you can soak them in water before feeding. They work well for fish, turtles, birds, small mammals, and reptiles as a daily supplement.

Packaging is sealed to keep moisture and oxygen out. After opening, close it tight and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. You can toss them straight into the water or put them in a feeding dish – whichever your pet prefers, dry or soaked. Use as a supplement to regular meals or as an occasional treat. A little goes a long way.
