Aqua Plus® Dried Gammarus Shrimp are harvested from non-polluted freshwater habitats and selected for size, colour and structural integrity. After thorough rinsing and ultrasonic cleaning, the amphipods are flash-frozen at low temperatures, then dried under vacuum to remove moisture while preserving natural protein, lipid, and carotenoid profiles.
No preservatives, artificial colourings or attractants are added during processing. The finished product retains a crisp texture that rehydrates quickly in water, making it easy for fish of all sizes to consume.
Dried Scuds deliver a minimum of 53% crude protein and 6% crude fat on a dry matter basis, with naturally occurring chitin and carotenoids (astaxanthin, beta-carotene). The amino acid profile supports muscle maintenance and metabolic function in both carnivorous and omnivorous ornamental fish. High Protein Fish Food suits tropical species (bettas, discus, angelfish), coldwater fish (goldfish, koi), bottom feeders and marine ornamentals.
Feed once or twice daily, with each portion consumed within two to three minutes. Natural Fish Food does not add measurable load to water quality under normal portions, with minimal suspended residue and reduced filter stress.
