Aqua Plus® Frozen Bloodworms 1KG Block is made from fresh live bloodworms, cleaned and sterilized then quick-frozen in solid block form without separate cube trays. Flash freezing locks native protein, amino acids and natural feeding attractants inside the worms, preserving the flavor of live bait to the fullest.
This slab-style packaging is ideal for bulk seedling rearing, fish farms and large-scale aquarium hobbyists. The raw material undergoes impurity screening, rinsing and sterilization, significantly reducing the risk of parasites and pathogens often carried by live bloodworms, making it a safer and more convenient alternative.
Feeding Method
1. Place the frozen bloodworms in a container and thaw them slowly using water from the aquarium itself; do not use hot water, as this causes nutrient loss.
2. Once thawed, briefly rinse the bloodworms in cold water before feeding; do not add frozen blocks directly to the tank, as this can irritate the fish's digestive tract.
3. Use as a supplementary food 2–3 times a week; feeding exclusively on this is not recommended. Adjust the portion size so that the fish consume it all within 3–5 minutes.
4. For small fish or fry, cut the thawed bloodworms into smaller pieces to make them easier to swallow.
5. Promptly remove any uneaten food after feeding to prevent decomposition.
