Artemia Cysts Brine Shrimp Eggs

Aqua Plus^® Artemia Cysts are a practical live feed resource for fish and shrimp hatcheries. When placed under suitable incubation conditions, the dormant cysts hatch into newly emerged Artemia nauplii, providing small aquatic animals with a moving feed source that is widely used in early rearing and nursery operations.

Sourced from inland salt lakes in China, these brine shrimp eggs are intended for hatchery operators who need a storable feed input that can be prepared when live feed is required.

The nutritional value of Artemia comes from the reserves contained within the cyst and the nutrients available in newly hatched nauplii. Artemia nauplii provide protein and amino acids needed for tissue development, along with lipids that supply energy during early growth. Their small body size and active swimming movement also make them attractive to many fish and crustacean larvae that respond better to moving prey than to inert particles.

Artemia cysts are sensitive to moisture and unsuitable storage conditions can reduce hatching performance. Keep the product in its original sealed packaging until use.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Reseal the container immediately after taking out the required quantity.
