The feed releases nutrients slowly in water, effectively minimizing loss through dissolution and ensuring that every particle is fully consumed and utilized; consequently, the nutrient conversion rate is significantly higher than that of traditional powdered feeds.
Performance in Water
The feed exhibits excellent suspension and dispersion properties in water, with uniform particle sizes suitable for shrimp larvae at various developmental stages. Upon entering the water, the particles do not clump together or sink too rapidly; the stable capsule structure prevents disintegration for several hours, thereby greatly reducing the risk of water pollution caused by uneaten feed.
Usage and Target Species
Microencapsulated fish and shrimp feed can directly replace live prey such as brine shrimp and rotifers for fry weaning, shrimp larval rearing, and daily feeding of small adults. For best results, feed small amounts multiple times daily. This microencapsulated feed can also be mixed with conventional pellets to gradually train feeding behavior.
