Aqua Plus^® ZM Micro Encapsulated Feed were not developed from a standard ingredient list. The starting point was the metabolic traits of penaeid larvae during the Zoea and Mysis stages. At these phases, larvae have small mouth gaps and underdeveloped digestive systems. Their sensitivity to protein sources and particle size is much higher than in adults. The formula combines protein from fish meal, krill meal, and soy protein, with an amino acid profile that covers the needs during moulting and metamorphosis. Vitamins C and E are added not to fill a checklist, but to address the condition fluctuations that larvae often experience during weaning. Natural pigments assist with colour development, but colouration is not the core target, it is an external sign of nutritional status.

ZM Shrimp Feed offers protein content and particle size differentiated for Zoea and Mysis stages, eliminating the need to switch between brands. Vitamin and mineral ratios reference natural larval feeding structures rather than adult requirements. Feeding results are consistent, with metamorphosis timing, moulting synchronisation, and batch uniformity remaining within manageable ranges. Colour improvement comes from gradual carotenoid deposition and requires consistent feeding over time before becoming visible.

ZM Phase Shrimp Larval Flakes require portion adjustments based on larval density and stage. Early Zoea: 0.8 to 1.2 grams per 10,000 larvae. Mysis: gradually increase to 1.5 to 2 grams. Divide into 4 to 6 feedings. After each feeding, observe response. Reduce portions if leftover feed is excessive. Increase if larvae finish quickly.
