Aqua Plus^® Shrimp PL Microencapsulated Feed uses microencapsulation technology to enclose high-concentration proteins, highly unsaturated fatty acids, and immune enhancers within stable capsule walls. The emulsification process ensures even distribution of nutrients within the capsule walls, with spray drying producing particle sizes between 10 and 100 microns to match the mouth gap of PL-stage shrimp. Natural polymer coatings (sodium alginate or chitosan) form a protective layer during processing, delaying nutrient release and reducing leaching after water entry. Unlike powders or standard pellets, microcapsules maintain structural integrity before ingestion, reducing residual feed accumulation and moderating ammonia and nitrite fluctuations in the water column.

Microencapsulated Shrimp Hatchery Feed uses fish meal, krill meal, and plant proteins as primary ingredients, with protein levels matched to the metabolic needs of PL-stage shrimp. Vitamin and mineral additions reference natural feeding structures rather than being extrapolated from adult requirements.
