Aqua Plus^® Turtle Sticks use fish meal and shrimp meal as protein sources, with protein levels matched to different growth stages. Juveniles require higher protein than adults, while calcium-to-phosphorus ratios are adjusted upward for adults. Calcium is added in both carbonate and phosphate forms, with vitamin D3 regulating calcium allocation to bones and shells. B vitamins participate in energy metabolism and nerve transmission, while zinc and selenium support immune regulation. Turtle Feed pellets maintain integrity during processing and soften at a moderate rate after entering the water, allowing turtles of different mouth sizes to feed normally. Turtle health depends on consistent nutrient supply. Different species have varying requirements for protein, calcium, and vitamins, and the same formula needs to cover the daily needs of aquatic, semi-aquatic, and terrestrial turtles.
