Aqua Plus® 200–300µm Microencapsulated Fish Larval Feed is formulated for mid-to-late weaning stages of high-value marine fish larvae. The particle size fits larvae of 0.6–1.0 cm body length, ensuring efficient ingestion.
The formula delivers min. 52% crude protein, min. 8% crude fat, max. 3% crude fiber, and max. 10% moisture – a high-nutrient profile supporting fast growth and health development. Microencapsulation technology locks nutrients inside stable capsule walls, releasing them gradually in water with minimal leaching, so each pellet is fully utilized.
Water Performance and Feeding Efficiency
This microencapsulated larval diet forms an even suspension upon entry, with no clumping or rapid settling, closely matching the natural behavior of live prey in the water column. The capsule walls hold up well in seawater for hours without disintegration, keeping residual feed low and reducing the frequency of water exchange and filter cleaning.
The particles stay suspended rather than sinking straight to the bottom, so larvae don't waste energy chasing. Even slower feeders get their share, resulting in better batch uniformity and improved nutrient conversion compared to traditional powders.
Feeding Guidelines and Storage
Apply a daily ration of 10 grams per 10,000 larvae, divided into at least 4 feedings per day. Feed small amounts per session, with each portion consumed within 2–3 minutes. Adjust the ration based on feeding response, water temperature, and stocking density.
Suitable for grouper, perch (barramundi), snapper, cobia, tiger puffer, and other high-value marine finfish hatcheries.
Store in sealed packaging at room temperature away from light, and use promptly after opening.
