Saltwater Fish Flake Food

Aqua Plus^® Marine Fish Food Flakes are a balanced flake diet formulated for marine ornamental fish, combining marine-based protein sources with essential vitamins, minerals and functional nutrients. The lightweight flake format spreads easily across the water surface, making it suitable for fish with different feeding behaviors and mouth sizes.

Marine Fish Flakes formula can incorporate ingredients such as fish meal, shrimp, krill, squid, marine algae and other aquatic protein sources to provide a broad nutritional profile. Marine fish flakes are commonly used as a daily staple for carnivorous and omnivorous saltwater species, while algae-rich versions can also be used for herbivorous and omnivorous marine fish.

The thin, lightweight flakes are easy to portion and distribute throughout the aquarium, allowing multiple fish to feed at the same time.

A properly balanced marine flake formula supplies protein, lipids, vitamins and minerals for routine maintenance rather than relying on a single nutrient source.

Feed 1–3 times daily, depending on fish species, size and stocking density.

Add only a small amount of flakes at each feeding.

Allow fish to consume the food within approximately 2–5 minutes.

For larger fish, lightly crush the flakes into suitable-sized pieces.

For small fish, use smaller flakes to reduce uneaten particles.

Remove excessive uneaten food to help maintain water quality.
