FAQ
Q: How do air-dried earthworms compare to freeze-dried earthworms in terms of nutrition?
A: Our gentle air-drying process preserves higher bioavailability of nutrients compared to freeze-drying or heat-processing. This means essential amino acids, fatty acids, and other heat-sensitive nutrients remain more intact, providing superior nutritional value for your animals.
Q: What is the recommended inclusion rate for poultry feed?
A: For poultry, we recommend including air-dried earthworms at 5-10% of the total feed ration. This provides a significant protein boost while improving feed palatability and supporting feather development and egg production.
Q: Are these earthworms safe for use in aquaculture feed?
A: Yes, they are an excellent protein source for fish and shrimp. The high digestibility and natural prebiotic effects make them particularly suitable for aquaculture applications. We recommend starting with 5-8% inclusion and adjusting based on species-specific requirements.
Q: What testing protocols do you follow for quality assurance?
A: Our products are tested for Salmonella, E. coli, and heavy metals at independent laboratories. We maintain full traceability from farm to final product and operate HACCP and GMP-certified processing facilities.
Q: Is this product suitable for organic certification?
A: Our earthworms are raised on certified organic feed substrates without the use of chemicals or artificial additives. Documentation supporting organic certification is available upon request.
Q: Do you offer bulk wholesale and OEM options?
A: Absolutely. We offer wholesale pricing for feed manufacturers, distributors, and commercial operations. We also provide OEM services including custom packaging, private label branding, and bespoke packaging sizes. Please contact our sales team to discuss your specific requirements.
