Products Description

100g Frozen Brine Shrimp Blister Pack

Aqua Plus® Frozen Brine Shrimp are sourced from natural salt lakes and salt pan waters. After harvest, the shrimp go through multiple rounds of screening and washing to remove debris and damaged individuals, keeping only those that are uniform in size and condition. The flash-freezing process is completed at low temperatures, preserving protein structure and fatty acid composition. Unlike freeze-dried products, freezing preserves moisture and water-soluble nutrients. The cube format provides consistent portion sizes, making it easy to use without weighing each time. The cube design also minimises the impact of repeated thawing, with unused portions returned to the freezer immediately after opening.

Frozen Brine Shrimp Fish Food offer crude protein between 50% and 60% on a dry matter basis, with an amino acid profile covering the daily needs of both carnivorous and omnivorous fish. Astaxanthin and carotenoids participate in pigment deposition through metabolism, with colour improvement requiring consistent feeding over time rather than short-term boosting. Flash-freezing also eliminates common parasites and pathogens, reducing the risk of disease introduction that live feed often carries. Frozen Brine Shrimp Aquarium Fish Food suit bettas, discus, cichlids, goldfish, tetras, and most marine ornamental fish, with both juveniles and adults able to feed without difficulty. Feed once or twice daily, with each portion consumed within two to three minutes.

FAQ

Q: What is the protein content of frozen brine shrimp and how does it compare to other feeds?

A: Crude protein ≥52% on dry weight basis, significantly higher than most commercial flakes (30-40%). The protein is highly digestible and supports muscle growth, breeding condition, and overall health in ornamental fish.

Q: What are the packaging options for bulk frozen brine shrimp orders?

A: Standard packaging: 100g blister packs, 96 packs per carton. OEM orders support custom blister sizes, private label printing, and custom carton configurations. MOQ starts from 50kgs.

Q: How should frozen brine shrimp be stored and thawed?

A: Store at -18°C or below. Thaw slightly in tank water before feeding. Avoid hot water or microwave thawing. After opening, return unused portions to the freezer immediately. Use within 7 days after thawing.

Q: Will frozen brine shrimp pollute my tank water?

A: Only if overfed. Remove uneaten food within 10 minutes and maintain proper filtration. The shrimp digest quickly with minimal residue, reducing the indirect impact on water quality.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for bulk frozen brine shrimp?

A: MOQ starts from 50kgs for standard products. OEM custom packaging requires separate MOQ negotiation. Samples available with sample fee refundable upon order confirmation.
