Micron Fish Larvae Feed

Aqua Plus^® 150-200µm Microencapsulated Fish Larval Feed targets the early‑to‑mid weaning phase, when larval mouth gaps are expanding rapidly. At this point, 100 micron pellets no longer provide efficient intake, whereas the 150-200 µm range offers a better fit, allowing larvae to capture and consume each particle in a single bite. The microencapsulation process locks high levels of marine proteins, highly unsaturated fatty acids, and immune enhancers inside sturdy capsule walls. Once in the water, the feed releases its nutrients gradually, keeping leaching to a minimum and ensuring that most of the nutrition ends up where it belongs, inside the larvae.

This microencapsulated feed disperses uniformly throughout the water column right after application, without clumping or rapid settling. It behaves much like natural live prey, staying within the larvae's strike zone and making detection and capture easy. The capsule walls hold up well in seawater for hours, with no signs of breakdown. That means less uneaten feed left behind, so you can reduce water changes and spend less time cleaning filters. Instead of sinking straight to the bottom, the particles remain suspended, allowing larvae to feed without wasting energy on pursuit.

In early to mid stages, you can feed this alone or mix with small amounts of live prey. Feed small amounts per session, with each portion consumed within 2‑3 minutes, 4‑6 times daily. As larvae grow further, you can switch seamlessly to larger pellet sizes. Store in sealed packaging at room temperature after opening, ready to use straight from the bag.
