Shrimp PL Feed

Aqua Plus^® Micro Encapsulated Shrimp PL300 Feed is a 300-micron formulated diet developed for post-larval shrimp that have moved beyond the finest hatchery feed sizes and require a more substantial particle. Its micro-encapsulated structure is designed to deliver nutrients within a controlled particle format, while gradual hydration helps the feed soften after entering the culture water without immediately breaking apart. The 300 μm size provides a practical feeding option for early post-larvae and nursery-transition shrimp, where matching particle size to shrimp body size is essential for efficient feed capture and consistent intake.

Use PL300 when shrimp are large enough to efficiently capture and consume a 300 μm particle. Divide the daily ration into several feedings rather than delivering a large amount at once. Spread the feed across the active feeding area to reduce localized accumulation and improve access for different size groups. Observe feeding activity and remaining particles after feeding. Increase or reduce the next ration according to actual consumption.
