Microparticulated Shrimp Hatchery Feed

Aqua Plus^® Microparticulated Shrimp Hatchery Feed is produced through physical micro particle technology – mixing, milling, and forming into uniform particles with sizes adjustable to larval mouth gaps. Unlike microcapsules, micro particles have a simpler structure. They absorb water quickly upon entry and soften naturally over time, making them easy for larvae to capture and digest. Suitable across multiple stages from Zoea and Mysis through early PL. One product covers several developmental phases, reducing the need for frequent feed changes.

These micro particles disperse evenly in the water column upon entry, with no clumping or excessive sinking, mimicking the distribution of live prey. The particles stay intact initially, then soften gradually to match the feeding pace of larvae. Low residual feed means less water quality impact and you can cut down on water exchange and system maintenance. Uniform particle size ensures even slower feeders get their share, improving batch uniformity.

Select particle size based on larval stage. Feed small amounts frequently about 4 - 6 times daily, with each portion consumed within 2 - 3 minutes. The product comes as dry micro particles so that store in sealed packaging at room temperature away from light, and use promptly after opening.
