Products Description

Features and Nutritional Value
Aqua Plus® 300–500µm Microencapsulated Fish Larval Feed is designed for the mid-to-late rearing stages of high-value marine finfish. The larger particle size (300–500µm) suits larvae of 0.8–1.5 cm in body length. At this point, feed intake rises significantly, and demand for energy and lipids increases.
The high energy formula provides min. 52% crude protein and min. 8% crude fat, with strict limits on crude fiber max. 3% and moisture max. 10% to sustain rapid growth and health. Microencapsulation preserves the nutrients and allows for gradual release in water, ensuring efficient utilization even at higher feeding rates.
Slow-Sinking Design for Bottom Adaptation
Unlike the 200–300µm version, these larger pellets are designed to sink slowly rather than staying suspended. There's a reason for this – mid-to-late stage larvae have expanded their range to mid-water, lower layers, and even the tank floor. Slow-sinking particles match this shift in behavior.
The sturdy capsule walls hold together even after reaching the bottom, so they don't dissolve quickly or release organic matter. That keeps the tank floor cleaner, and leftover feed can be flushed out easily through the drainage system, cutting down on floor cleaning.

Feeding Guidelines and Storage
Apply a daily ration of 12 grams per 10,000 larvae, divided into at least 4 feedings per day. Each portion should be consumed within 3 minutes. If uneaten feed is visible, reduce the amount accordingly. Suitable for grouper, barramundi, snapper, cobia, tiger puffer, and other high-value marine finfish hatcheries.
Aqua Plus series store in sealed packaging at room temperature away from light, and use promptly after opening.
